Domain 3: Positive School Culture and Engagement

I noticed that many of our dual language teachers only knew their colleagues at their school but they almost never knew anyone from other schools including their fellow grade level teachers. We used this to break the ice and help to foster a community or collaboration.

I realized that there was a lot of disconnect between our teachers and the program we serve in which is one of less than 20 K-12 Dual Language programs in the country! To build some common connections, we learned about our own program
