My junior year of college, I had the incredible opportunity to study in Northern Tanzania. I learned some Kiswahili and even some Maa. I decided to research Maasai women's language education. I noticed that many Maasai women spoke Maa as well as Kiswahili and some even spoke English too. Through my research, I learned more about Maasai culture and language as well as overall Education trends and practices in Tanzania.
